Living and working in Berlin, Australian Andreas Tesch creates finely crafted ceramic art objéts.
“My works are intimate objects, handmade in clay and my aim is that they inspire people's appreciation of textures, form and shape.
Some pieces have voluminous forms and sensually curved lines. They constitue organic forms reminiscent of bodies, vessels or biological formations. Other pieces act as counterpoints to architectural forms. These objects are new images, which are not like the physical world.”

Andreas Tesch took second place in the state handcrafted arts competition for both the Squiggle Bowl 2008 (37x50cm) and Skin Bowl 2003 (36x50cm).
